Up to Code Services was built on years of real-world experience across inspections, construction, permits, and code enforcement. We help property owners, contractors, and investors make smarter decisions when projects become complicated.
Construction has always been part of the foundation. Growing up around the trades gave me an early understanding of how buildings are put together — and what happens when they're not built the right way.
Over the years, that foundation expanded into hands-on work across multiple sectors of the construction and inspection industry. That included ADA inspection work, which built a detailed understanding of code application at the field level — not just as written standards, but as they're actually enforced and interpreted in real-world conditions.
Experience working within city code enforcement systems provided a different kind of insight: what triggers violations, how departments prioritize cases, what compliance pathways are realistically available, and how to communicate effectively with city officials. That knowledge doesn't come from a textbook — it comes from being inside the process.
Up to Code Services was built to bring that combination of field experience, certification, and practical city knowledge to clients who are navigating inspections, permits, and code compliance issues. The goal is simple: give property owners, contractors, and investors the clarity they need to move forward without making expensive mistakes.
ICC certifications are issued by the International Code Council — the standard-setting body for building codes in the United States. Each certification requires examination and demonstrates field-level knowledge of the applicable code.
The combination of field experience, city knowledge, and ICC certifications is uncommon in the private consulting space. Most inspectors haven't worked inside city systems. Most permit runners don't carry ICC certifications. We bring both.
We serve Southern California property owners, contractors, and investors across Los Angeles County, Ventura County, and surrounding communities.
